The location is a bit far away from the city center, but a few metro stops around.

Staff was good

Too far from the subway station. I had to walk for almost 20 minutes, part of the way on a road dangerous to be crossed. If you are not by car, i don't recommend staying there.

Woudl have been better to

Two of us were charged for meals that we didn't order. The reception staff rectified this quickly and without any hassle. There was no tea-making facilities in the rooms. The reception didn't have any kettles. I was loaned an iron but not an ironing board. So ironed on the bed.

Pleasant and good location to quickly get to the RAI exhibition building which is only 1 tram stop

All good. Like the bar to get a beer. Did not use the restaurant or breakfast facilities. The standard Internet speed in the room and throughout the hotel is poor.

The standard WiFi service offered too slow or not working at all.

A very nice, clean and conceptually made hotel. However, the place is inconvenient if you don't have

The breakfast was very good, the beds very comfortable. The sais have enough space and are very nicely decorated. The bathroom is large and comfortable. The staff is very attentive and in general it is a very clean, cozy and pleasant place.

The location is on a main road and there is nothing interesting near the hotel. You have to walk 15 minutes to some public transport stop. We had to get around by taxi. The place is suitable if you have a car.

Nice hotel in a not-so-great location

The free underground parking was awesome! The staff was very nice and accommodating. The bed was quite comfortable, too!

The location isn't fantastic (other than being right next door to a gas station). It was over a km walk to the nearest public transit stop and over a mile walk to the nearest bakery (not important to everyone but European bakeries make for a perfect breakfast). Also, the bathroom in the double-twin room was very tight and cramped. The sink was just too small for me to wash my hands without constantly bumping into the faucet or the bottom. If you're anything over medium in size, it'll be a challenge to shower without bumping into everything.

Good breakfast. Standard room acceptable for a 2 night stay. Nice welcome water and complimentary use of a fridge in the room!

Somebody smoked in a bathroom near mine and it smelt in my room - really gross. Two single beds were separated and could have been put together for single use. The railway was right outside my window which was a little noisy even with double glazing. Bathroom was small.

Wrong Bastion

Nice rooms, bath and beds.

I wanted to be at the Bastion in the north, but didn’t notice that it was Bastion Amstel, so in the middle of the night we had to get a car to get to the other hotel. According to both places this is a very common mistake, both know that this happens 2-3 times a week. I think they ought to solve this so people are easily aware of which one is the one where they have booked room.

The staff very friendly, helped us with every request we had.

There was no place where to put the shower cream in the bathroom( it kept felling off) It was too warm in the room and couldn't turn off the heat.

Free private parking. Van der Madeweg subway station - 14 min (1.1 km) Spaklerweg subway station - 15 min (1.2 km)

There is nothing to do without a car. No crosswalks and no sidewalks around. It's like an island among the roads. Terribly-slow wi-fi. Tiny bathroom. Everything is worn out.
